History
Kingman Arizona was founded
in 1882. Situated in the scenic Hualapai Valley between the Cerbat and
Hualapai mountain ranges. It is known for its very modest beginnings as a
simple railroad siding near Beale’s Springs in the Middleton Section along
the newly constructed route of the Atlantic and Pacific Railroad.
Arizona can boast the
longest stretch of Route 66 still in existence between Chicago and Los
Angeles. Beginning just west of Ashfork and continuing from Seligman through
Peach Springs, this stretch of the original road positions Kingman as the
"Heart of Historic Route 66."

modern luxury to the great outdoors, you're sure to find the perfect place
to stay with more than 50 inns, hotels, motels, bed & breakfasts,

Bullhead City is on the Colorado River, at the Nevada and California
lines
The community was named for the shape of a large boulder
in the river. The rock was submerged by construction of the Davis Dam.
An old mining town, which became a ghost town, then
resurged with the building of Davis Dam in 1942
This community serves as the economic hub and retail
shopping center for Western Mohave County and Southeastern Clark County,
Nevada. More than five million people travel through Bullhead City annually
to enjoy the wonderful weather and great community atmosphere. Bullhead City
is located across the Colorado River from one of the nation's most popular
gaming communities: Laughlin, Nevada. The year-round sunshine makes it
perfect for families, retirees and vacationers. Bullhead City is truly an
oasis in the desert.
